Cycled along Grand Union Canal from Brentford to Slough, then via road to Windsor. Reasonable cycling weather. It was interesting to get a canal side view of some places that one normally only sees form the road, such as Southall, Hayes, West Drayton. Got slightly lost exiting towpath near Colnbrook but eventually got back on track at Datchet. Welcome drink at pub in Windsor before heading back to Twickenham on the train. Apparently I broke the spindle on the read wheel of Adam's bike on this trip - I had not realised how rugged the track was.
